This document explains how to create and run a tournament.

How to access and create a tournament
1. How to access the tournament screen:
Marketing -> Tournament (Beta)
2. After accessing this screen you will see a list with all the tournaments that occurred or running:
3. On the top of this list is a button “Create new tournament”, clicking on this will bring you to a new screen to setup the tournament:

On this screen you have access to all the configurations for the tournament.
Setting up a tournament:
1. ID: it is the number of the tournament that you created:
2. Description: it’s the name of the tournament, the default is the date that this tournament was created, but it’s possible to change for any name that you want:
3. Date Created: this is the date that the tournament got created:
4. Start and duration: these two options shows how much time the tournament will take to start after you click on the start button and how much time it will be running:
5. Tournament: it shows the date that the tournament ended:
6. Start credits: Here you can set how much credits the machines will receive when the tournament begins:
7. Notify Users: here you can select one user to receive via email the informations about the tournament (Start, finish, which machine won that):
8. Slot count: this is a counter for the slots that are selected to play the tournament:
9. Jackpot screen: here you can select which jackpot controller that is connected to the system will show when the tournament starts and ends:
10. Screen Title: Here you can type a title to the tournament, this one will show on the Jackpot screen:
11. Credit method: here you can select between AFT/Legacy Bonus or ticket printer:
AFT/Legacy Bonus:
Ticket printer: if you select ticket printer, at the end of the tournament the machine will print a ticket for the winner on the cashier’s printer:
12. Tournament end: here you can select if the machine will be locked after the tournament, you can select between: No Locking, Lock for 15 seconds or lock until an admin unlock it.
13. adding machines to the tournament:
On the right side of the screen you can see a list with the machines that will participate of the tournament and on the top of this list you will see two selection drop downs:
You can select the group and the machines that you want to add to the tournament, and click on “Add slot”, the machines that you selected will on this list:
Running and stopping a tournament
On the bottom of the screen you will see a red and a blue button, on is for start (Blue) and on is for stop (Red) the tournament.
When you start it the cooldown to start the tournament will begin and at the end of 10 minutes (as example) the tournament will start on the selected machines. It will stop automatically after 5 minutes (example).
The Stop button on the bottom is to end this tournament fully, after clicking on this button you will need to create a new one if you need to run another tournament.
How the tournament works
When the tournament starts the machines will receive the amount of credits setted. The players will be able to play on these machines and when the timer for the tournament finishes, the machines or the ticket printer will print the tickets for the tournament, these tickets are not cashable it only serves to the employee knows who wins the tournament and give them the reward, the reward is decided by the admin/owner of the location, it can be an object, a trophy or some value in cash/ticket.
