How to correct a wrong Fill operation

Objective

This document will guide you through the steps to correct a wrong Fill operation, under Cashier -> My Ledger -> Insert Transaction.

Procedure

Fill lower than expected

In the last picture, the initial Fill was U$ 10,000.00. If the amount saved in this Fill operation was lower than the expected amount, you can simply insert a new Fill, and then the system will sum both amounts  as shown in the three steps below. 

1. Initial Fill of U$ 10.000,00 :



2. Insert a new Fill of U$ 5,000.00 :



3. New Fill shown by the system (sum of U$ 10.000,00 and U$ 5,000.00 = U$ 15,000.00) :

Fill higher than expected

On the other hand, if the value exceeds the expected Fill value, a user with Manager permission will have to delete the transaction under section  Managements -> Ledgers / Cash Drawers.


Select the column View for the desired ledger



Click on the x to remove the undesired fill. 



After that, a new Fill can be performed by the Cashier:



On the ledger the new balance will be shown:



Fill higher than expected (another possibility)

Instead of deleting the last Fill, there is a possibility to insert an Overflow transaction. In the example, it will be - U$ 3,000.00.



Then, the new balance will be U$ 5,000.00 (U$ 8,000.00 - U$ 3,000.00)
