The following slot settings are required for the proper operation of all Easy Linx features. Some settings may have different names depending on the slot manufacturer, or even be implicit under a “parent value”. The example below follows definitions by IGT’s SAS Protocol Standards.

Communication Protocol
- Channel Port (or Primary Channel – Most slot machines often use comm ports 1/3).
- SAS ID (or SAS Terminal ID). Set to 1 (or slot number, if Serial Number not configurable).
- Serial Number (and Asset Number, where available). Set to location’s slot number.
Machine Control
- Enable Machine Control or individual settings to allow date/time change and location name/address
Validation
- Set validation to Secure Enhanced
- Ticket redemption assigned to SAS comm port 1.
- Enable Hand Pay Validation and Hand Pay Reporting.
Tickets (Ticket In / Ticket Out assigned to the SAS port)
- Accept restricted vouchers and promotional vouchers.
- Set to print restricted and cashout vouchers.
- Enable Hand Pay Receipt.

- Set Asset Number (same as serial number).
- Set System Bonusing (SAS AFT).
- Set Primary channel: Cashless - AFT.
- Enable Legacy Bonus (if available).
Misc.

Testing

- Send a “Bonus Test” to the slot (from Easy Linx Slot Management) and confirm the credit.
Side notes:
We provide tech support for Easy Linx, not for slots or RAM Clears.
The guide has all requirements, but how to do it on the slot you have, varies per manufacturer.
This task of clearing and setting it up must be performed by the location tech, or coordinated with the slot supplier (for clears)
If needed, you can order a service call to your location, and we can send a tech to perform the technical work. Orders can be placed via call with our office.
