Objective
The objective of this document is to introduce our new match play interface, which aims to provide configuration and scheduling capabilities.
We will explain the features in detail and provide examples on how to configure them.
Details
Accessing the new Match Play Interface: The feature requires admin permission or Marketing permission with a special user permission called "Marketing - Match Play Setup."
If the permissions are valid, the user will open a new screen, which will be the new Match Play Interface.
The top menu is related to:
-
Schedules - Here the user can configure the scheduling of ratios and match play time frames.
-
Settings - Here the user can configure the general settings of the match play, including fixed ratios (ratios that will remain constant and not be scheduled).
When opening the "Schedules" menu, the left menu will be populated with days of the week and also the option of hourly match plays.
Example 1
As an admin of the business, I would like to have two different match play ratios per day: one for the morning and one for the night. Here's how I can do this in the new interface:
1. Start by creating these two ratios for Monday.
2. After creating those two ratios, use the tool available at the bottom left corner to copy them. Then adjust the End Day to Tuesday and save:
3. Repeat this procedure for all days of the week.
4. Finally, make sure to save all changes.
5. How about the results? Based on the configuration made:
5 AM - 12 PM -> 10 for 15 activated
3 PM - 11 PM -> 20 for 25 activated
If it's 12:30 PM, the match play will be inactive, as there are no ratios available.
Example 2
As an admin of the business, I would like to have one match play ratio for the weekend and one for the weekdays. Here's how I can schedule such ratios in the new interface:
1. Start by scheduling the weekend ratio. Access the interface and go to the starting day of the weekend ratio, which is Saturday. This ratio will start on Saturday morning and end on Sunday night.
2. After saving, go to the starting day of the weekday ratio, which is Monday. This ratio will start on Monday and end on Friday night, allowing the system to run a ratio during the whole week.
Example 3
As an admin of the business, I would like to make the match play available for the cashier to type. This means the cashier will be able to insert the amount of cash collected, and the system will automatically calculate the match of this value and print the ticket. Here's how I can do this in the interface:
1. This can be done by removing all scheduled ratios and activating the general match play switch. Go to the Match Play interface, Setup area.
2. Then, make sure the "Enabled" field is set to "Yes." This will enable the match play, allowing the cashier to print match play tickets based on the amount of cash collected/inserted.
3. The range of cash collected (minimum and maximum) can be set up in the "Minimum/Maximum Cash Amount" field.
Example 4
As an admin of the business, I would like to have one match play ratio available all the time. However, I would also like to manually insert ratios at specific times when I feel it is the right moment. Here's how I can do this in the new interface:
1. In this case, the best way is to insert ratios manually without scheduling them. This can be done in the Setup screen by clicking on "Add new Ratio."
2. After inserting the ratio, the match play switch will be turned on. More ratios can be added manually as needed.
Example 5
As an admin of the business, I would like to have one fixed match play ratio, but also scheduled ratios for specific times (e.g., Friday all day). Here's how I can do this in the new interface:
1. We will need to set up both a fixed match play ratio and a scheduled match play ratio. Start with the scheduled ratio. Go to the scheduling area and create a ratio for Friday all day.
2. After creating the scheduled ratio, create the fixed ratio, which will be available at all times.
Observation: If it's Friday morning, the list of ratios will look like this:
The greyed-out ratio is a scheduled ratio. Scheduled ratios can't be deleted directly from the list. To delete this ratio, the user must delete the scheduling of this ratio.
