Cashier set up:
Once logged in as an admin user, you need to set up a cashier user that will operate the system. By default, you have 3 Cashier users:
- Cashier Morning
- Cashier Afternoon
- Cashier Night
If you would like to use all 3 of them, you need to make sure to inform the cashiers their username and password.
Username = CashierAfternoon, CashierMorning or CashierNight
Password = cashier0123
If the cashier needs more permissions, go to Admin -> Users & Permissions -> Users, and find the Cashier user. Then, click on the "key" icon and select the permissions you want to add from the dropdown list:
Every user has it's own special permissions. You may check the special user permissions of cashiers under Admin -> Users & Permissions -> Special User permissions:

Admin set up:
Another important topic to be discussed is the admin user set up. Once logged in, an admin should redo his admin login, to fix his email and username. EasyLinx has a default admin set up. To change it, go to Admin -> Users & Permissions -> Users, and then click on the pencil. Now, type your username, password and email:
Enable TITO:
One of the most important things when setting up EasyLinx System is enable TITO, this way the tickets cashable and promotional will be accepted by the machines. To enable TITO go to Admin -> Settings:
Click on the tab ELA Settings -> and on the option "Cancel All Slot Issued Tickets" set to "NO" and click on "Save":
Close accounting report set up:
Every location has its daily closing report. To receive a daily report with this information, you have to create a task. To do so, go to Admin -> Task Scheduler:
By default, it shows an existing closing report but it is not enabled. To reactivate it with the correct information, find on the list a task with the name "Close Accounting". Click on the pencil to edit it:
- Go to the "When" tab, and select the time you want to receive the report via email. This closing report needs to be sent after the daily closing time:
- On the "Users" page, select the admin user (where you select email that will receive the report):
- On the "Save" page, click on "Save Task"
Now the email report will be sent to the selected user(s). There's also the possibility to check the report after being sent. To do so, go to Accounting -> Closings -> On column "View report", click on the dropdown item -> Click on "Complete" -> PDF will open and it can be downloaded:
Jackpot set up:
By default, one pre-configured Jackpot will appear on the Jackpot Screen. However, it needs to be enabled and configured to your liking. To do so go to Marketing -> Local Area Progressive Jackpot. When on the Jackpot screen, you'll see a list of all Jackpots created on the left side. Click on the pencil to edit the pre-configured Jackpot. Location name set up:
When the system has not been configured yet, it will show EasyLinx as the location's name. To change the location's name, go to Admin -> Settings -> General Settings, and then change the Location's name (left side) and Location short name (right side):
Click on "Save" to save the location name.
Remote access set up and usage:
The remote access is a functionality provided by EasyLinx where the manager can log in to the location's system from another place. EasyLinx is responsible for setting up the remote access.
- To ask for remote access go to http://www.easy-linx.com/ and click on "Portal Registration". Make sure the information entered matches the location system information.
- After submitting the form, customer care will reach out to you informing once registration is done. To remote access you location follow this document: How to access EasyLinx remotely
Hot seat set up:
There is no pre configured hot seat. The admin user needs to create a task to run the hot seat. Further details are provided on the following document: New Hot Seat Interface Guide
Vendor reports set up (weekly):
Some locations have slot vendors. EasyLinx can send weekly reports of these slots. To create this report:
Match Play schedule:
Match play promotion can be set up on the system. This document will guide you through the steps to configure fixed and scheduled match play ratios:
Business hours of the location:
It's very important to keep the location's business hours updated. Go to Admin -> Settings -> Hours of Operation. Then, enter the location's hours of operation. Click on "Save" to save it.

Change Server TimeZone:
If necessary, the server timezone can be changed going to: Tech -> Server -> Change Server TimeZone.
Select the current timezone and click on "Save Configuration:
Audit Ledgers:
The admin can have access to the ledger of all the users on the system. With the admin permission it is possible to open new ledgers, close ledgers currently opened, remove transactions and audit ledgers. The Access to see the ledgers on the system is: Management -> Ledgers:
Side notes:
Every admin user has to bear in mind the following concepts:
- Close accounting task (its responsible for closing the day, when talking about accounting. It can be checked under Task Scheduler -> "Close accounting").
- Ledger Open (its responsible for closing the old ledger and opening another new one. It can be cheched under Task Scheduler -> "Ledger Open").
- Hours of Operation (can be found under Admin -> Settings -> Hours of Operation. It should be maintained correctly. Tickets might follow the hours of operation time frame if set it up this way under Admin -> Expiration)
An example of configuration that will work without any issues:
Location business hours: 08:00AM -- 5:00AM
Ledger open task: 5:20AM
Close accounting task: 5:30AM
